Viviana obtained a bachelors degree in Biotecnologie vegetali alimentari e agroambientali from University of Milan. She is working in the noMAGIC project to engineer a potassium channel which reacts changing its conformation after adsorbing light. In particular the aim of the project is obtaining a channel which acquires an open conformation in light condition and a close conformation in dark condition.
